  • The Union Pacific Museum, will be creating an exhibit to celebrate the era of passenger train travel called "America Travels by Rail". The permanent exhibit will open in the spring of 2010 and will be located on the top floor of the Museum. According to Beth Lindquist, director of the museum, the exhibit will talk about the heyday of passenger travel and streamline trains. A lot of trains for the Union Pacific were called Streamliners. Council Bluffs is also home to the Union Pacific's corporate business fleet of passenger trains and can sometimes be seen at the rail yard in Council Bluffs.
